Requirements
Must:
- We need 4+ years of practical Salesforce development experience spanning requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, and deployment, with strong focus on Salesforce, Lightning Platform, object-oriented programming, and client-server technologies.
- We require a bachelors degree or higher.
- We need experience working in a Salesforce declarative environment.
- We require hands-on Salesforce configuration experience.
- We require Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- We need the ability to explain ideas, concepts, and technical strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- We value creative problem-solving and the ability to design innovative solutions.
- We need experience writing application specifications and solution documentation aligned to project needs.
- We require experience assessing vendor and partner software, along with integration approaches.
- We need the ability to understand system architecture, identify gaps between current and future states, and deliver effective solutions.
- We require the ability to contribute in design sessions and communicate design alternatives across the team.
- We need working knowledge of Salesforce Web Services APIs, including SOAP, REST, Bulk API, and Metadata API.
- We require Agile development experience.
- A Platform Developer II or Admin certification is a plus.
- Experience with JavaScript and web technologies is preferred, and familiarity with Java or other server-side languages is an added advantage.
- Candidates must be local and able to work on-site three days per week in Newark, Delaware.
Responsibilities
- We design and implement Salesforce solutions, including integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- We partner with program offices to review user requests and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- We work closely with the Salesforce Architect to develop and deploy solutions that meet the required specifications.
- We write code and build solutions to the defined technical requirements.
- We identify appropriate testing approaches and support quality assurance activities.
- We carry out all necessary steps to deploy and implement application solutions.
- We collaborate in a self-directed team environment with project teammates and QA, addressing development work, customer issues, and security needs.
- We participate in design discussions and help evaluate solution options.
