Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of SQL Server development experience (T-SQL)
- 5+ years of proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- 3+ years of performance tuning experience, including indexes, execution plans, and refactoring
- 3+ years of experience with developing stored procedures, views, and resolving production issues
- 3+ years of Classic ASP (VBScript) development experience, including ADO, session management, and request/response lifecycle
- Proven track record in debugging older applications with minimal documentation
- 3+ years of experience supporting legacy production systems and vendor-provided applications
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on independent work in stable environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance complex SQL queries, prioritizing performance optimization (indexes, execution plans, refactoring)
- Maintain and update existing codebases using Classic ASP (VBScript) while supporting legacy production environments
- Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of older applications with limited available documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure critical stability in legacy systems
- Work autonomously to implement safe and incremental system improvements with minimal documentation
- Provide support for vendor applications and coordinate efforts with third-party applications as necessary
