Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information/Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least eight (8) years of development experience in the SAP PO/PI and/or CPI platform; ten (10) years preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years in development and/or troubleshooting of HANA Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/HCI, iFlows, and ABAP
- Advanced to senior-level experience with SAP NetWeaver PI/PO, covering design, development, monitoring, and integration support
- Proficient with standard PI/PO components such as Integration Directory, Enterprise Services Repository, message mapping, and various adapters (IDOC, RFC, SOAP, REST, File, JDBC, etc.)
- Strong grasp of middleware concepts, including message routing, transformation, and error management
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple integration workstreams concurrently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and business teams
- ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Foundation certification (to be obtained within 12 months if not already held)
- Familiarity with COBIT IT Governance & Management framework and related regulatory/compliance aspects
- Solid experience with BAPI and EDI is preferred
- Prior involvement in PI/PO to Integration Suite migration projects, addressing assessment, design, and execution of integration cutover
- Knowledgeable about SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and associated services
- Background in utility, energy, or comparable regulated industry environments advantageous
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily KTLO (Keep the Lights On) operations for existing SAP PI/PO integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and rectifying integration failures
- Actively contribute to the upcoming SAP upgrade project, focusing on migrating existing integrations from SAP NetWeaver PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration
- Work with integration team members and project stakeholders to ensure a seamless cutover and minimal disruption to business operations during migration
- Design, configure, test, and deploy integration flows, mappings, and adapters within the SAP middleware environment
- Maintain documentation for integration designs, technical specifications, and operational runbooks
- Offer guidance and support to cross-functional teams regarding integration-related queries and best practices
- Support all stages of the SDLC by generating necessary documentation and estimates; supervise deliverables from junior staff
- Provide 24X7 primary and/or secondary support for web services, B2B file transfers, and other integration methods for core or mission-critical interfaces
- Coordinate maintenance tasks, including release schedules for one or more functional areas
- Collaborate with the Basis support team to configure and optimize the Integration infrastructure for peak performance
- Formulate and confirm the integration architectural strategy for proposed solutions based on SAP best practices
