Network and Systems Administrator (IT)

- Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline - 3-5 years of experience in Windows server administration - 3-5 years of experience in desktop, network, hardware, and software support - Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders - Proven experience in collaborative work environments with corporate and technical resources - Background in customer relations and personal service, adept at assessing customer needs and ensuring satisfaction - Openness to learning from team members and gaining experience - Familiarity with Microsoft Management Console (MMC), Server Manager, PowerShell, and Windows Services - Working knowledge of Active Directory domain and trusts - Experience with DNS and networking protocols - Proficient in server virtualization (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V) - Experience supporting Windows 11 users - Familiar with onboarding and offboarding procedures for users - Ability to manage Microsoft applications on desktops and servers - Competence in maintaining Office 365 and MS Office products like Outlook email - Capable of deploying and supporting application installations - Diligent in planning and documenting technical support operations - Understanding of software licensing, maintenance, and hardware warranties - Familiarity with processing invoices, renewals, purchase orders, and related documentation - Good practical knowledge of cybersecurity, website certificates, antivirus software, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) - Independent worker as well as a team contributor with minimal supervision
