Responsibilities
- Learn, comprehend, and adhere to Federal and State laws, including Medicaid laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policies pertaining to public assistance programs.
- Comply with all CAI and State Security requirements.
- Utilize available computer inquiry systems to gather necessary verifications.
- Acquire Medicaid renewals from the client system and allocate work among the team daily.
- Reassign cases to the appropriate pool as needed.
- Communicate with clients and direct their calls appropriately.
- Collaborate with the client to securely gather application documents through digital formats (pdf, jpg, etc.).
- Index verifications when necessary.
- Monitor and track all monthly metrics, presenting findings to leadership.
- Document all case management details using the eligibility system.
- Participate in one-on-one check-ins and staff meetings to stay updated on processes and procedures.
- Perform additional case management duties as required.
