Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in data entry
- Minimum one year customer service experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to analyze financial data
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Responsible and independent team player eager to positively impact the community
- Reliable transportation to and from the office, with punctuality
- Willingness to work at least one Saturday a month, if necessary
- Capable of working 100% onsite
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods in a stationary desk position
Responsibilities
- Familiarize oneself with Federal and State laws regarding Medicaid and public assistance programs
- Adhere to all CAI and State security protocols
- Utilize computer systems to acquire necessary verifications
- Collect Medicaid renewals from the client system and allocate tasks among the team daily
- Assign cases to the appropriate pools as needed
- Communicate with clients and direct their calls accordingly
- Collaborate with clients to securely gather application documents in digital formats (pdf, jpg, etc.)
- Index verifications as required
- Monitor and report monthly metrics to leadership
- Record all case management details in the eligibility system
- Attend one-on-one and team meetings to stay updated on processes and procedures
- Take on additional case management responsibilities as required
