- I have solid understanding of automation and server migrations.
- I have hands-on experience in developing Ansible playbooks, managing the Ansible Automation Platform, upgrading Satellite 6, and working with VMware.
- I possess advanced troubleshooting skills.
- I possess strong skills in TCP/IP networking, network topology, and firewalled environments.
Preferred:
- I have basic knowledge in storage management, database administration, Windows administration, cloud integration, and Veritas NetBackup management.
- I am familiar with applications such as JBoss, WebSphere, Splunk, and HP ALM.

Responsibilities
- I will provide Linux support for approximately 300 servers.
- I will perform system maintenance, including OS patching and remediation of vulnerabilities identified during regular security audits.
- I will conduct quarterly patching of RedHat systems to adhere to stringent PCI security regulations.
- I will ensure compliance with the technology roadmap through OS and hardware upgrades, third-party software upgrades, and standardization/automation of systems.
- I will address incident tickets and resolve them promptly.
- I will collaborate with IT and business clients across all levels of the organization.
- I will install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.
- I will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of the Linux-based infrastructure.
- I will develop and manage Ansible playbooks and the Ansible Automation Platform.
- I will handle the management and upgrades of Satellite 6 and VMware.
- I will participate in rotating on-call Unix/Linux support in a 24x7 environment.
- I will document my work thoroughly and ensure clear communication among teams.
- I will research and develop innovative technology solutions to align with business initiatives and management vision.

I am seeking a dedicated Unix/Linux Systems Administrator to join our UNIX Operations team. This is a full-time, onsite position, available as a 6-12 month contract.
