Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Proficiency in using technical tools relevant to the role, such as CAD, CAE, and quality engineering tools.
- Fundamental understanding of general engineering methodologies (LEAN or 6-sigma) including DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the capability of products and production systems to meet customer and contractual specifications through established reliability factors.
- Design, propose modifications to, and install quality control systems.
- Create and document analytical procedures for assessing the reliability of products and their components.
- Conduct assessments on comparative reliability concerning cost, structure, weight, maintainability, production ease, and the availability of materials and equipment.
- Develop, enforce, and oversee company environmental safety initiatives and policies to ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations at federal, state, and local levels, and recommend necessary corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and industry standards associated with product environmental obligations.
- Manage and implement technical and testing standards, quality control, and reliability programs related to materials, products, and processes to optimize the use of materials and labor.
- Handle failure analysis, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and communicate with clients.
