Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, including 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Exceptional communication abilities to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
- Proficient in React, Django/Python, REST APIs, and backend databases like PostgreSQL and Oracle
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Proven experience in designing modular systems and reusable components
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on team-first leadership
- Passionate about leveraging technology to benefit public services and communities
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a growing team of software engineers on various applications and services
- Ensure the delivery of dependable and maintainable software by advocating for modular design and reusable components that facilitate long-term scalability and align with organizational goals
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to transform objectives into actionable development tasks
- Enhance team processes related to testing, deployment, and release management
- Mentor engineers to support their professional growth and development
- Engage actively to review code, troubleshoot issues, or influence technical strategies as necessary
