Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience with IBM DataStage v11 ETL processes, including the development lifecycle of code, testing, verification, and deployment while handling inputs from CSV, SQL Server, Oracle, or Excel and outputs in Oracle.
- Over 5 years of experience with Oracle SQL, demonstrating extensive knowledge of SQL, functions, triggers, and stored procedures, along with the ability to troubleshoot processing errors and implement corrective measures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously and independently.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with co-developers, supervisors, and client business users.
- Basic knowledge of TOAD (database utility) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with both current and new development projects using IBM DataStage ETL version 11, incorporating data from flat files (CSV), MS SQL Server, Excel, and Oracle for the OITs CAR billing application.
- Gather billing data from approximately 20 internal service provider sources and transform it into a unified billing application utilizing Oracle.
- Maintain current billing processes through DataStage ETL for 34 billed services and create new ETL processes for IBM mainframe billing, replacing legacy COBOL procedures.
- Generate error reports from DataStage to aid business users in rectifying issues.
- Enhance existing DataStage processes by addressing production anomalies and improving problematic areas.
