Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS technology
- Strong skills in Arc Py, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and ESRI JavaScript API
- Capable of managing and analyzing spatial data
- Knowledgeable in SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Familiar with geoprocessing, mapping, and cartographic techniques
- Experience with migrating ArcGIS to cloud platforms like AWS
- Skilled in Shell scripting on Linux
- Preferred: experience in geodatabase management and performance tuning
- Preferred: able to design training materials and lead workshops
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support GIS applications utilizing ESRI ArcGIS technology
- Oversee and analyze spatial data, ensuring its integrity, quality, and accessibility
- Implement and maintain GIS architecture, including ArcGIS Server and database solutions
- Create scalable and reusable code for GIS web applications using several programming languages
- Work with spatial data, conducting geoprocessing, mapping, and cartographic tasks
- Integrate non-spatial data with SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Plan, configure, and manage geodatabases including performance optimization
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration of GIS solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS applications
- Stay abreast of the latest GIS technologies and tools, applying innovative techniques to projects
- Create user-friendly presentations and training materials for diverse audiences
- Conduct workshops or seminars regarding GIS applications
- Tackle complex spatial challenges using GIS technologies and propose actionable solutions
- Migrate ArcGIS applications from on-premises to AWS or other cloud platforms
- Handle Shell scripting tasks on Linux
- Optimize and resolve database performance challenges
