Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of programming or systems analysis experience
- Proven ability to collaborate with customers, business analysts, and team members to define business requirements
- Experience in aligning technical solutions with business and IT strategies and adhering to architectural standards
- Familiarity with the entire systems life cycle, responsible for the design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of application software within budget
- Familiarity with making recommendations for new code development or reusing existing code
- Participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build analysis
- Strong expertise in systems analysis and design, alongside a solid grasp of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
- Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with customers, business analysts, and IT team members to interpret business requirements that inform the analysis and design of effective technical solutions
- Ensure technical solutions align with business and IT strategies while adhering to the Departments architectural standards
- Engage in all phases of the systems life cycle
- Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery
- Provide suggestions for new code development or repurposing existing code
- Contribute to component and data architecture design, oversee performance monitoring, evaluate products, and make buy vs. build decisions
- Assist in systems analysis and design, maintaining a strong understanding of development practices, quality assurance, and integration methodologies
