Requirements

Must:
- 4+ years of experience working with Adobe AEM 6.5 / AEM 6.5 LTS - Solid background as a software developer and a senior technical design contributor - Profound knowledge in AEM architecture, Apache Sling, OSGi Declarative Services, and Java 8+ (willingness to learn Java 21) - Advanced understanding of OSGi lifecycle management and dependency injection - Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems - Strong front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, and Webpack - Familiarity with AEM Dispatcher settings, caching strategies, and cache purging - Knowledge of REST APIs, caching mechanisms, message queues, and NoSQL databases - Expertise in Jenkins CI/CD workflows, Maven builds, and CRX Package Manager processes - Proven track record in delivering critical systems in an established Agile environment - Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a willingness to embrace new technologies - Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities - Significant experience working with offshore teams and managing project closure across distributed teams - Commitment to ownership and accountability throughout the project lifecycle

Responsibilities

- Define and lead the technical direction for AEM development within the product area - Design enterprise-level AEM solutions with an emphasis on scalability, security, and optimal performance - Set and uphold best practices for AEM development, ensuring high standards of performance, security, and monitoring - Guide technical decision-making and assess new AEM features and related Adobe tools - Create technical design documents and convert high-level architectural concepts into functional AEM implementations - Develop and maintain AEM components, integrations, and applications utilizing AEM 6.5 LTS - Exhibit expert-level knowledge of OSGi, including lifecycle management, bundle deployment, and debugging tasks - Demonstrate experience with Apache Sling, JCR repository operations, and event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka - Configure and fine-tune AEM Dispatcher caching methods and incorporate Adobe marketing tools like Target and Analytics - Construct and oversee REST APIs and front-end architecture utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, and Ant Design - Manage CI/CD process utilizing Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus artifact management - Ensure thorough testing of AEM components and integrations using JUnit, PowerMock/Mockito, Jest, and Enzyme - Scrutinize and enhance AEM performance, caching, and content delivery efficiency - Uphold high levels of code quality, security, and dependability using tools like SonarQube and ESLint - Mentor junior AEM developers and perform code reviews to promote engineering best practices - Lead remote and distributed engineering teams effectively - Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and delivery teams to align requirements with AEM solutions - Actively engage in Agile ceremonies to keep engineering alignment with project roadmaps and timelines - Maintain awareness of engineering health across all technological layers of the product - Identify cross-layer risks, dependencies, and obstacles; escalate as necessary - Ensure AEM content delivery and integrations meet the needs of related client platforms and backend services - Stay informed about the evolution of the AEM platform and developing content management trends - Assess new technologies and methodologies relevant to content and experience layers - Encourage the adoption of contemporary AEM practices, cloud-native designs, and enhancements to front-end architecture
