Requirements
Must:
- You must hold an Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- You should be Security+ certified or have the ability to obtain this certification within 3 months of your start date.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related IT field with 7 years of relevant experience is required; alternatively, a Master’s with 5 years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 9 years of experience will be considered. A minimum of 7 years of technical experience is essential.
- Extensive experience in JavaScript, particularly as it relates to ServiceNow and ServiceNow Glide, is necessary.
- An understanding of best practices in workflow and process management within both commercial and federal sectors is important.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with industry partners are vital.
- You should be able to effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development, including task management, conducting stand-ups, sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and documentation, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- You will develop, maintain, and improve applications on the ServiceNow platform, covering areas such as ITSM, SPM, CMDB, ITOM/ITAM, CSM, ATF, DevSecOps, Service Portal, and custom application development.
- Your role will include coding, performing unit tests, conducting code reviews, checking in code, and assisting in building the code pipeline for continuous integration and delivery.
- You will customize ServiceNow applications, facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, and configure application UI, workflows, and APIs.
- Advancing and maintaining configuration management on the ServiceNow platform across all environments will be part of your duties.
- You will work collaboratively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and manage general updates and configuration requests.
- Planning for data ingestion from various legacy sources, making design decisions on said data, and reconciling data based on an authoritative source will be expected.
- You will be responsible for innovating and reimagining the ServiceNow Service Portal Implementation by utilizing customizations and widget capabilities.
- Policy, action, and script development will be part of your responsibilities, including creating applications with scripted REST APIs, customized notifications, approvals, and inbound email actions.
- You will coordinate with various departments, both within and outside the customer’s organization, to complete project tasks.
- Being an independent self-starter, you will proactively develop solutions and resolve business problems using ServiceNow.
- You will operate as part of an Agile Team, creating and utilizing stories alongside other Agile and/or SAFE applications within ServiceNow.
