Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant software development experience
- Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies
- Proficient in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices
- Knowledge of software support and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with Java and frameworks like Spring and JPA/Hibernate
- Competence in JavaScript and client-side frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
- Skilled in developing REST and SOAP services and APIs
- Understanding of microservice architecture
- Experience working on UI/UX design and collaborating with UI developers
- Knowledge of cross-browser development and testing practices
- Compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with general development tools like Git, Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Visual Studio Code
- Experience with development and deployment on OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Competence in both Linux and Windows server environments
- Ability to provide 24/7 support for applications as necessary
Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using Java
- Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements outlined in user stories
- Engage with subject matter experts and testers to validate functionality against documented test cases
- Work alongside cybersecurity engineers to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities
- Provide round-the-clock support for applications as required
