Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in relevant software development
- Proficiency in an agile/scrum development framework
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of software support and troubleshooting techniques
- Expertise in Java and its frameworks, such as Spring and JPA/Hibernate
- Proficient in JavaScript and client-side frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
- Skilled in developing REST and SOAP services and APIs
- Understanding of microservice architectures
- Competence in UI/UX design and collaboration with UI developers for implementation
- Ability to conduct cross-browser development and testing
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in general development tools, including Git and IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio Code
- Experience with deployment tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows server environments
- Capability to provide 24/7 application support as necessary
Responsibilities
- Create software applications using Java
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and clarify user stories
- Partner with subject matter experts and testers to validate functionality against established test cases
- Work alongside cybersecurity professionals to identify and address security vulnerabilities
- Provide 24/7 support for applications as needed
