Requirements
Must:
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain a U.S. Government Polygraph (post-hire)
- Bachelors degree and typically 4 to 10 years of relevant technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniques (additional experience may substitute for a degree)
- Compliant with DoD and DoD M IAT Level II standards
Responsibilities
- Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation across various WAN/LAN environments
- Support research and implement enterprise-wide network solutions to meet customer mission objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network media and components
- Monitor and assess the health and performance of the network including hardware and management software
- Create and maintain a roadmap for operational capabilities and technologies
- Aid in the development and execution of test plans and documentation for all network configuration changes prior to implementation
- Assist in analyzing network traffic and optimizing bandwidth to meet performance goals
- Evaluate and report on new network technologies to enhance capacity and reliability
- Recommend changes or upgrades to improve performance and adhere to industry best practices
- Follow customer network security procedures and ensure compliance with government policies
- Represent customer requirements in technical discussions with government agencies
- Conduct site surveys for installations and technology refreshes
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot satellite communications equipment
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams
