Requirements
Must:
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- Bachelors degree in a related field; or an Associate degree with four years of specialized experience; or relevant certification with six years of specialized experience; or high school diploma with eight years of specialized experience
- Current US Department of Defense 8140/8570 baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent/higher) to be obtained within 90 days of starting
- Experience with Navy Distributed SIGINT Operations (DSO) preferred
- Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), with certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, Linux+ or LPIC being advantageous
- Familiarity with Cisco Routing and Switching (ACI & Catalyst); CCNA certification is a plus
- Knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere
- Strong understanding of Routing Protocol Configurations, OSI 7 Layer Model, IPv4 and IPv6, DNS, DHCP
- Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting classified systems and networks
- Background in network engineering, operations and maintenance support, requirements analysis, product integration, network baselining and progress tracking
- Excellent planning and scheduling abilities to meet deadlines
- Capable of managing, executing, and reporting tasks independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Programming experience in Python and Java
- Knowledge of NetApp/ONTAP Solutions
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and configuration of network settings and systems software supporting MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft operations
- Audit and verify network and systems configurations to ensure compliance with the latest standards and cyber/Information Assurance policies
- Address Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting issues and execute fault resolution activities for TS/SCI and collateral networks
- Propose and document network architecture, design concepts, change implementation plans, and risk assessments
- Collaborate closely with industry partners and government organizations to ensure robust network connectivity
- Analyze existing network architectures and provide design recommendations for WAN/LAN technologies
- Deliver guidance on network implementation including intent-based networking and segmentation protocols
- Offer after-hours support to maintain continuous operations during emergencies
