Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows and general technology
- Some college experience preferred, especially in liberal arts fields such as English, History, Music, etc.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong self-direction with the ability to manage responsibilities independently
- Keen interest in technology and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide help desk support for small businesses via email, phone, remote desktop, and onsite visits in the Chicagoland area 1-3 times per week
- Assist clients with issues related to Windows, Macs, and mobile devices, focusing on Office 365 and Google Workspace cloud management
- Manage daily tasks and responsibilities autonomously while maintaining organization and ensuring follow-up
- Engage with clients confidently and professionally, taking on responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Continuously learn on the job to enhance skills and provide effective support
