Requirements
Must:
- 3 to 6 years of practical experience in developing automation, integration, or AI workflow systems in a production environment.
- Proven capability in crafting end-to-end pipelines that interface with various services, manage real data, and maintain operational continuity.
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving that favors straightforward architectures, thorough instrumentation, and debugging from logs.
- Proficiency in coding with JavaScript or Python for workflow logic, data manipulation, and API integration, with fluency to assemble APIs, parse responses, and write Code nodes in n8n.
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting architectures, creating runbooks, and communicating systems to non-technical team members.
- Experience with workflow automation tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience integrating with at least one prominent LLM API (e.g., Claude, GPT, Gemini) including prompt design and output management.
- Familiarity with operational databases such as Airtable, Notion, or Coda and experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth flows.
- Competence in version control using Git.
Responsibilities
- Construct and enhance automation workflows that link language model APIs with our documentation, communication, and data systems. Adapt existing workflows as demands shift or business requirements evolve.
- Manage task routing across different language models, tailoring prompts based on performance metrics, cost, and context needs.
- Establish review and validation layers in workflows where output quality is essential. Incorporate human review points and automated checks for compliance verification.
- Create AI agents to assist delivery teams in status tracking, risk identification, document preparation, and routine project management.
- Design workflows that accommodate extended processes, review points, and recovery strategies for failures during execution. Integrate retry logic, error handling, and escalation procedures into all workflows.
- Oversee our automation environment, ensure pipeline performance, manage API usage costs, and troubleshoot production challenges. Maintain version-controlled templates and prompts.
- Clearly document system architectures and provide training for team members to promote utilization and feedback on the systems you develop.
