Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in or associated with a utility company (Electric, Gas, or Water)
- Proficient in SQL, specifically Oracle or MS SQL Server
- Prior involvement with Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in troubleshooting system issues
- Effective communication skills to articulate technical matters to non-technical personnel
- Familiarity with IFS MWM, HxGN EAM, or Kloudgin (preferred)
- Knowledge of Metering/AMI systems (e.g., Sensus, Itron) is a plus
- Experience with APIs, integrations, or scripting languages like Python/PowerShell (beneficial)
- Understanding of ServiceNow or ITIL processes is desirable
- An AWS Cloud certification is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of MWM and EAM applications to ensure uninterrupted service for field crews and dispatchers
- Provide Tier 2/3 support by diagnosing and resolving user-reported issues
- Utilize SQL to investigate data discrepancies, validate information, and produce reports
- Facilitate software updates, configure application settings, and adhere to IT security protocols (including change control and access management)
- Ensure seamless data integration between MWM/EAM and other systems (such as metering or billing)
- Create documentation, including how-to guides and runbooks, to streamline issue resolution for the team
- Assist users with application installations on Windows PCs and iOS devices, and offer training on new features
