Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business)
- Over 8 years of pertinent IT/project management experience or applicable skills to succeed in the role
- Project Management Professional Certification from a recognized entity (e.g., PMI)
- Extensive experience in leading diverse business projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies to facilitate successful outcomes
- Superior project management and collaboration capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S4Hana modules, functionalities, and architecture
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and technical architectures
- Experience in driving complex technology projects that integrate systems for business process enhancement
- Competence in documenting technical processes using visual aids such as diagrams and flowcharts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, etc.), Smartsheet, and similar project management software
- Highly proficient in team leadership, problem-solving, and time-management
- Sound judgment and technical skills in managing intricate technical environments
- Familiarity with AI tools relevant to project management processes
- Understanding of change management principles, particularly in extensive SAP S4 transformations
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, enterprise-wide projects across IT and business sectors, developing detailed project plans including timelines and resource allocations
- Coach and mentor peers, providing guidance and performance feedback to enhance PMO capabilities
- Offer strategic insights for technology and system selection, facilitating solution evaluation and implementation planning
- Manage vendor partnerships, contracts, and project financial performance ensuring alignment with goals
- Identify and address project risks and issues proactively to safeguard timelines and scope
- Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports and status updates
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, tailoring messages for executive and technical audiences
- Direct the rollout of intricate business and IT initiatives, such as infrastructure modernization and system integrations
- Oversee critical testing, go-live activities, and post-launch stabilization
- Stay attuned to emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements
- Conduct post-implementation reviews, ensuring insights gained are documented and integrated into future processes
- Assist PMO leadership with various projects and initiatives as needed
