Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, etc.)
- Over 8 years of experience in IT/technical project management or the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the role
- Project Management Professional Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., PMI)
- Extensive experience leading and supporting business projects across various domains
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and their application for achieving successful outcomes
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and technical architectures
- Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities tailored to various audiences, both technical and non-technical
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, etc.), Smartsheet, and related project management tools
- Experience in utilizing AI tools related to project management processes
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead complex enterprise-wide, cross-functional projects and programs within IT and business sectors, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and delivering measurable outcomes
- Mentor and coach peers, providing guidance and performance feedback to enhance overall PMO capabilities
- Offer strategic expertise for technology and system selection, aiding in solution evaluation and implementation planning
- Oversee vendor contracts and project financials to ensure performance and budget compliance
- Identify, analyze, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues to ensure project timelines and outcomes are met
- Maintain detailed project documentation including reports, dashboards, and status updates
- Deliver clear and comprehensive communications to stakeholders at all levels
- Direct the execution of complex business and IT initiatives, including infrastructure improvements and system integrations
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance delivery efficiency
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and integrate them into PMO processes
- Provide support to PMO leadership related to ongoing projects and initiatives
