Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with internal and external partners
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid understanding of IT impacts on various organizational aspects
- Knowledge of IT administration best practices and Microsoft O365 products/services
- Proficiency in using IT incident ticketing systems
- Strong foundation in computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and network security
- Familiarity with diverse computer hardware, software, and networking protocols
- Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field (preferred)
- CompTIA A Certification (preferred)
- Experience with ticketing systems such as SolarWinds Service Desk, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira Service Management (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the sites information technology infrastructure
- Monitor and manage site-specific hardware including servers, workstations, and network equipment
- Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues reported by team members
- Act as the main point of contact for IT emergencies and participate in disaster recovery planning
- Conduct inventory management for hardware and software
- Collaborate with vendors for IT equipment procurement and support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications
- Manage equipment replacement as necessary
- Supervise the IT service desk ticketing system, ensuring timely and courteous service
- Provide technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly
- Enforce compliance with IT security policies, regulations, and industry standards
- Safeguard data integrity through effective data management practices
- Work with central IT teams to implement network and system enhancements
- Document and standardize solutions for IT challenges
- Prepare reports concerning IT activities and incidents as needed
