Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Networking, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Over 10 years of networking experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Fortinet products required
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs
- Familiar with Microsoft environments and various network tools
- Preference for experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructures
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and monitor LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites
- Assist in the support and maintenance of firewalls, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and wireless networks in coordination with the Senior Network Engineer
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents as they arise
- Provide support for warehouse systems, VoIP, and facility technologies
- Work alongside the Director of IT to facilitate infrastructure upgrades and projects aimed at network standardization
- Maintain clear documentation of network structures and topology diagrams
- Support new facility setups by designing and deploying the network infrastructure
Description
We are seeking a Network Engineer to play an essential role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across all locations. This position straddles both IT and Operations, ensuring that our network systems support efficient and reliable warehouse and business functions. We prioritize collaboration with Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective network solutions, balancing hands-on execution with strategic enhancements. Our work environment is a hybrid setup based in Bentonville, AR, with the possibility of up to 30% travel depending on project needs.
