Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

- Conduct research utilizing both open-source and classified Cyber Threat Intelligence sources to monitor Advanced Persistent Threats, malware, and vulnerabilities - Supply the Threat Hunting & Forensics Team with Indicators of Compromise and essential background information regarding threats - Assist the Threat Hunting and Security Operations Center in developing detection techniques for identified threats - Alert relevant stakeholders about significant concerns such as vulnerabilities and potential threats - Regularly update and maintain the Cyber Threat Intelligence Standard Operating Procedures - Stay informed about industry trends and emerging threats, including monitoring social media for potential risks - Prepare professional reports and presentations for senior leadership on threat assessments and trends - Adjust to changing priorities based on threat severity and leadership requests - Build and maintain professional relationships across different teams and external organizations - Manage controlled information reports from CISA as necessary - Create proactive monitoring strategies for Darknet sources related to client threats - Maintain cloud-based installations and evaluate new threat feeds - Assess and recommend new threat intelligence tools that could enhance client operations - Track work progress and metrics using Azure DevOps - Engage in cross-training activities with related teams such as Threat Hunting and Penetration Testing
