Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in wireless technologies and network security
- Proficient in testing Wireless Access Points (APs), wireless extenders, and Bluetooth devices
- In-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi standards including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7
- Understanding of industry standards set by WBA and WFA
- Strong grasp of Wi-Fi features like OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Band Steering, and MLO
- Experience with 802.11 k/v/r, mesh networking, and seamless roaming
- Solid knowledge of Wi-Fi security protocols including WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3
- Familiar with operating systems including Linux, Windows, and macOS
Responsibilities
- Design and implement thorough testing strategies, both manual and automated
- Conduct Wi-Fi functionality testing to ensure network integrity
- Perform interoperability testing to validate device communication
- Execute performance, latency, stress, and reliability testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess wireless capabilities and security effectiveness
Description
We are currently looking for a Technology Lead specializing in Wireless Networks and Information Security to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This is a contract position for six months, with immediate start availability and an onsite/hybrid work arrangement based on project requirements.
