Requirements
Must:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Wireless Technology and Network Security
- Proficiency in wireless technology testing, including access points and Wi-Fi extenders
- In-depth knowledge of wireless standards such as 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be and Bluetooth
- Strong grasp of Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7, including relevant industry standards (WBA/WFA)
- Familiarity with key WiFi features like OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Band Steering, and MLO
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and macOS environments
- Skilled in creating and implementing both manual and automated test strategies
Responsibilities
- Perform WiFi and wireless product validation across diverse platforms
- Analyze wireless template standards and evaluate security protocols
- Conduct advanced testing for functionality, interoperability, performance, stress & latency, and reliability
- Validate roaming and mesh behaviors using 802.11 K/V/R standards
- Work with various security frameworks including WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and report findings
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies
- Lead WiFi validation cycles focusing on features and security layers
- Provide performance insights and assist in defect resolution across teams
Description
We are looking for a seasoned Technology Lead in Wireless and Network Security to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is on-site or hybrid as project needs dictate, and it offers a contract duration of 6 months, starting as soon as possible. You will support WiFi standards testing and next-generation wireless features validation in complex enterprise environments.
