Requirements
Must:
- 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Direct experience in Investment Management or Wealth Management industries
- Expert-level proficiency in Java
- Strong front-end development skills in React
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with database design and management is a plus
- Familiarity with C# development is desirable
- Availability to attend meetings in the Eastern Time Zone (EST)
- Preference for candidates located near Burlington, MA or Greater Boston for possible onsite collaboration
Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development by designing and implementing advanced front-end interfaces using React and robust back-end services with Java
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain project momentum
- Identify and troubleshoot architectural bottlenecks and technical debt within the wealth management platform
- Collaborate closely with team members to set up development environments and ensure high code quality through peer reviews
- Transform complex business needs within the wealth management domain into actionable technical specifications and scalable software solutions
Description
We are looking for three exceptional Senior Software Engineers to join our specialized team at our clients corporate headquarters in Burlington, MA. This is a 12-month remote contract position, although we prefer candidates who are open to working onsite. You will be engaged in impactful development for a major Wealth Initiative, taking ownership of full-cycle development. Our collaborative environment fosters innovation as you partner with cross-functional teams to create scalable, mission-critical applications that enhance complex investment and wealth management workflows.
