Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer in a data-centric setting
- Proficient in writing Oracle PLSQL and conducting data analysis
- Ability to produce clean, testable, readable, and maintainable code
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodologies and continuous integration/deployment tools
- Passionate about engineering excellence with a strong grasp of modular design, object-oriented programming, and effective testing practices
- Competence in delivering maintainable, extensible, reusable, and high-performance PLSQL solutions
- Understanding of middleware Java technologies and their data interactions
- Knowledge of Agile environments and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) strategies
- Strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving and effective communication
- Good understanding of database design concepts including Transactional, ODS, and Data Warehouse
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools with a focus on high-quality software delivery
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica and scheduling mechanisms
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in craftsmanship
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a global engineering team to design and develop solutions for the Managed Accounts team
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of data, products, and applications to drive efficient solution proposals
- Analyze data and conduct impact assessments to inform decision-making and solution development
- Lead efforts in application design, engaging in design and code reviews
- Play an active role in product quality initiatives, including test development and regression testing
- Contribute to the enhancement of engineering practices in ATDD and CI/CD methodologies
- Recommend best practices for software engineering within a global team setting
