Requirements
Must:
- Salesforce platform expertise in Energy & Utility Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with integration patterns such as middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica) and ETL tools
- Proficient in data modeling, architecture design, and governance principles
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and release management
- Understanding of Salesforce best practices, security, compliance, and performance optimization
- Superior communication abilities for translating technical details to business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders and prioritizing competing demands
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
- Over 10 years of Salesforce experience, including 3-5 years in solution architecture or technical leadership roles
- Hands-on implementation experience in complex enterprise settings
- Proven success in delivering integrated Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives
- Strategic mindset with an enterprise-wide perspective
- Capacity to manage high-complexity projects involving various integrations
- Customer-centric approach to ensure Salesforce solutions provide business value
- Adaptable to dynamic cloud environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience with API/REST web services and data sources
- Agile methodology and lifecycle management expertise
- Certified in System Architecture and Salesforce platforms
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive Salesforce solutions, focusing on Energy and Utility Cloud, Experience Cloud, and external system integrations
- Define system architecture, data models, and integration patterns following industry best practices
- Ensure designed solutions are scalable and sustainable, complying with Salesforce and enterprise architecture standards
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and executives to gather and analyze requirements
- Transform business requirements into technical specifications that align with strategic goals
- Oversee integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, including databases and APIs
- Provide guidance to developers on Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Flows, and other Salesforce technologies
- Establish governance for development, release management, and environmental strategies
- Create architecture standards, coding guidelines, and security measures for Salesforce implementations
- Conduct design and code reviews to validate adherence to best practices
- Evaluate and suggest Salesforce products, applications, and third-party tools to fulfill business needs
- Ensure Salesforce solutions are optimized for performance, reliability, and compliance
- Design role-based access, data security, and sharing protocols within Salesforce
- Maintain architecture documentation, as well as technical specifications and diagrams
- Mentor developers, administrators, and junior architects on Salesforce best practices
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk assessments
- Participate in the full solution delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment phases
