Principal PL/SQL Developer

- Over 8 years of practical experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer, working with large and sensitive datasets - Proficient in RDBMS with skills in SQL querying, and the creation of stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and managing user and object privileges - Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and design expertise, with a commitment to continuous learning within a collaborative environment - Experience in performance optimization of stored procedures and database queries - Familiarity with ETL processes for efficiently loading substantial data volumes, such as SQL Loader - Proficient in a Linux environment and knowledgeable in basic Unix commands - Background in Agile methodology and working within a team setting - Experience in database modeling techniques - Understanding of Core Java, Python, and scheduling tools like Control-M is a bonus - AWS Cloud experience is advantageous - Strong data analysis, design, and programming skills, especially in the financial sector, ideally related to Capital Markets or Securities Finance - Over 5 years of experience in the financial services industry is preferred - Familiar with financial industry glossaries and terminologies - Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating with teams - Highly motivated and able to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions - Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders - Quick learner, adaptable, and possesses a positive attitude towards cross-team collaboration and solution deployment
