Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Geography, Geospatial Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with GIS software, preferably ESRI ArcGIS and Ericsson Network Engineer Map Based GIS
- Familiarity with telecommunication infrastructure, including Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP)
- Proficient in data migration and management practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for GIS applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly
- Ability to collaborate with IT, engineering, and contractor teams effectively
- Experience with database management systems such as SQL or Oracle is a plus
- Professional certifications such as GISP or Esri Technical Certification are preferred
Responsibilities
- Create, migrate, and maintain geospatial data for telecommunication and data network infrastructure
- Perform data conversion and migration tasks for existing network infrastructure components
- Build data for fiber cables, conduits, and relevant equipment layouts
- Review and update land maps using various GIS platforms
- Compile geographic data from multiple sources, including satellite and aerial imagery
- Analyze geographic relationships among diverse data sets and prepare reports
- Build and enhance GIS applications and conduct evaluations for system upgrades
- Conduct research to secure existing databases and ensure data accuracy
- Generate actionable maps and documentation to assist decision-making across teams
