Full Stack Engineer (60/40 front-end/back-end)

- Over 8 years of experience in full stack software engineering, ideally with a focus on financial services applications - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience - Strong critical thinking capabilities and a commitment to personal and professional growth - Proven ability to convey technical requirements and functionalities to non-technical stakeholders - Long-term mindset for creating scalable and maintainable solutions - Collaborative experience in a team setting to develop, deploy, and maintain essential applications and features - Sound understanding of Agile software development principles - Proficient in breaking down complex business challenges into innovative and effective solutions - Knowledge of internet, mobile, application architecture, and both current and emerging technologies - Expertise in server-side languages and frameworks such as Java EE, Apache Tomcat, and Spring MVC/Spring Boot - Familiarity with client-side technologies including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS - Understanding and adherence to best practices in object-oriented design, RESTful services, and secure application development - Experience with DevOps principles related to SCM, continuous integration, and deployment processes is an advantage - Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and orchestration frameworks like Apache Camel is a plus - Familiarity with client-side unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma is beneficial - Experience with Docker and AWS cloud deployment is preferable - AWS certification(s) are a plus - Understanding of the W3Cs Web Content Accessibility Guidelines is advantageous
