Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of professional experience in financial services, with at least 5 years focused on Collateral Management.
- Proven background in software implementation within the Financial Services sector, holding roles as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
- Familiarity with applications such as Colline, Apex, Cloud Margin, etc., is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of relational and object stores with practical SQL experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Trade Flows, Security References & Market Data, Valuations, and Benchmark Data, along with designing comprehensive operational data flow architectures.
- Development experience in Collateral Management systems is highly preferred.
- Experience in custody and settlement workflows utilizing SWIFT for security and cash transactions.
- Demonstrated capability in implementing financial systems using standardized SDLC methodologies (e.g., AGILE).
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
- Strong management, project management, and leadership competencies.
- High proficiency in Excel, Access, VBA, and Visio is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive complex business and system requirements working sessions by leading strategic user meetings.
- Collaborate with the business team to gather requirements, create wireframes, and communicate the vision to the development team, overseeing the entire development life cycle.
- Design and implement a complete data and process flow in partnership with both business and development teams, ensuring seamless connectivity across the ecosystem, including SWIFT.
- Break down intricate concepts into clear business and functional requirements accessible to stakeholders (including end users, developers, testers, etc.).
- Document project specifications and related materials in clear, concise language adhering to methodology frameworks.
- Partner with the project team to create and manage project plans, addressing issues and mitigating risks.
- Consult with users, developers, testers, and implementation experts to ensure alignment and functionality.
- Guide the creation of end-user training programs, user acceptance testing plans, and implementation strategies; update senior management and business stakeholders accordingly.
- Mentor and lead the project team in resolving issues, risks, and barriers.
- Collaborate with technology and business managers to provide strategic direction in maintaining disciplined processes.
- Ensure compliance with project methodology standards, documentation, and necessary approvals (e.g., project artifacts, tollgates, etc.).
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to guarantee accurate deliverables.
- Navigate cross-team dependencies among other business and IT functions.
