Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in scripting and crafting SQL queries
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- Proficient in Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with C#, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber and SpecFlow
- Experience with Selenium automation framework
- Understanding of STLC Testing Methodology
- Ability to create technical documentation
- Familiarity with XPath and YAML Pipelines
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus
- At least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing
- No less than 2 years of practical experience in automation testing in a similar capacity
- Proven record of successfully implementing automated test solutions
- Experience testing web applications in live production settings
- Demonstrated capability to work efficiently within QA/testing teams
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C# (Java, Python, or JavaScript are acceptable)
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Ability to generate clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Hands-on experience with Git version control system
- Proficient in GitHub or similar platforms
- Understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes
- Proficient with Selenium WebDriver or equivalent automation frameworks
- Ability to design and execute automated test scripts
- Familiarity with automation testing best practices
- Knowledgeable in various browsers and cross-browser testing
- Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern
- Experience with other testing paradigms (Data-Driven Testing, Keyword-Driven Testing)
- Ability to convert business requirements into automated test scenarios
- Strong understanding of HTML structures and semantics
- Familiarity with CSS selectors and their usage in automation tasks
- Ability to identify and interact with dynamic elements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to document test cases and automation procedures proficiently
- Experience collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Ability to present test outcomes and offer constructive feedback
- Understanding of Generative AI (LLM or RAG) is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools like Jenkins is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Carry out both automated and manual testing to validate software performance and user requirement fulfillment
- Develop and maintain user and technical documentation alongside project process documentation for application teams
- Understand application and technology views to organize procedures logically
- Adapt to learn business application functionalities and new technologies as required (including AI)
- Create and execute automated test scripts
- Collaborate effectively with QA/testing team members
- Articulate test results and provide actionable recommendations
- Document test cases and automation processes comprehensively
- Build solid test automation solutions in alignment with best practices
- Engage with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity in testing processes
- Participate in cross-browser testing to ensure optimal performance across various platforms
