Requirements
Must:
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with myBatis and expert-level PL/SQL (Oracle)
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming
- Proven track record with ATDD and testing frameworks like Spock (Groovy) or JUnit
- Experience deploying and managing containers using Docker and AWS EKS; skilled in CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB and S3 is a plus
- Experience with Wiremock for API simulation and Autosys for job scheduling
- Background in creating dashboards and alerts in Datadog
- Previous experience in Financial Services or FinTech is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java/Spring Boot microservices within an AWS EKS environment
- Manage complex data mapping and persistence using myBatis, ensuring seamless interaction with large-scale Oracle databases
- Implement robust data pipelines and facilitate inter-service communication using Kafka to process high-frequency financial data
- Develop and enhance automated batch processing jobs with Autosys, integrated with PL/SQL for substantial data manipulation
- Promote a test-first culture by utilizing Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), crafting expressive tests in Groovy/Spock, and mocking dependencies using Wiremock
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of your code, from CI/CD deployment to monitoring production health through Datadog
