Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data science or similar positions showcasing a robust portfolio of projects related to machine learning, AI, or big data analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C, or VBA.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for scalable computing solutions.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow for deep learning applications.
- Strong understanding of database design principles along with SQL expertise; experience with Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
- Experience utilizing natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools such as SAS or other statistical software packages.
- Ability to analyze large datasets using data mining techniques to derive actionable insights.
- Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell scripting) for automation tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills paired with strong problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models and AI algorithms using tools such as TensorFlow, R, Python, and SAS.
- Design and enhance database schemas to facilitate large-scale data storage and retrieval, utilizing SQL, Hadoop, Spark, and other big data technologies.
- Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations within diverse datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions involving natural language processing (NLP) and other advanced analytics methodologies.
- Construct scalable data pipelines utilizing Bash (Unix shell), VBA, and various scripting languages to automate data processing workflows.
- Utilize cloud platforms like AWS for deploying models and efficiently managing extensive datasets.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and big data analytics to continually refine modeling strategies.
- Document methodologies, results, and insights clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
