Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in EDI, ERP, IT, or supply-chain systems management
- In-depth knowledge of retail EDI transaction sets and compliance standards
- Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Familiarity with SalesPad and technologies related to warehousing or distribution
- Proficient in managing system integrations and resolving complex technical problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams
- Preferred: Experience in consumer products, publishing, or retail distribution environments
- Preferred: Knowledge of SQL, APIs, or data integrations
- Preferred: Experience with warehouse automation, fulfillment systems, or 3PL integrations
Responsibilities
- Oversee all EDI transactions including management of various document types: 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 940, and 945
- Onboard and maintain retailer EDI programs for partners such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens, and Amazon
- Resolve EDI errors, compliance challenges, retailer chargebacks, and testing needs
- Administer and provide support for EDI platforms like SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or CommerceHub
- Support and manage Microsoft Dynamics GP as our main ERP solution
- Facilitate integrations among Dynamics GP, SalesPad, accounting systems, EDI platforms, and warehouse technology
- Deliver everyday IT support covering hardware, software, network access, and user permissions
- Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and managed service providers
- Aid SalesPad and warehouse systems, including order processing, inventory management, barcode scanning, label printing, and shipping processes
- Maintain connections with shipping platforms, carriers, and third-party logistics providers
- Enhance inventory accuracy, operational workflows, and reporting capabilities
Description
We are seeking an EDI & IT Specialist to lead our Electronic Data Interchange operations, as well as support business systems integrations and IT infrastructure across our corporate office, warehouses, and retail channels. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient order processing, compliance with retailer requirements, and maintaining inventory visibility necessary for our continued growth. Our organization offers a full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year, along with benefits such as a 401(k) plan and health insurance. The role requires in-person work at our location.
