Web Developer

As a Fortune 24 company, we are seeking a skilled Java Developer (Web) to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with a 9+ month contract, with the potential for extension in 2024. You will be responsible for supporting development work tied to an existing code base specific to our web "tower." This includes working on various external and internal facing websites related to Provider Management, Medical Management, Web, and PEGA. Due to the nature of our contract engagement, all consultants will need to pass an NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries). You will be able to begin the engagement while this process is occurring, and we will assist you throughout the process. In terms of qualifications, we require 3-5 years of experience in full-stack Java development with a focus on web development. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is preferred. IT experience in a managed care environment is highly valued. We also expect a strong understanding of business processes and proficiency in Adobe AEM content web manager, JavaScript, Java Server Pages, Node.js, Angular, and Eclipse/Intelli-j. Preferred experience includes strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell, as well as familiarity with the OSI model, is a plus. Our technical stack includes Java, Linux OS (command line), Middleware (JBoss, Apache, Tomcat), Spring Batch Framework, Soap/REST web services, Hibernate JPA, ElasticSearch engine, Jenkins, Subversion Configuration Management.
