Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 2 years of experience providing support for Windows, Mac, and/or Linux in a corporate environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- I prefer candidates with an Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of helpdesk or desk-side support experience is essential.
- Strong verbal communication abilities are a must.
- Candidates should possess the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A commitment to quality along with excellent multitasking skills is required.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to provide basic technical assistance to corporate employees.
- You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Timely responses to inquiries through chat, phone, email, and our ticketing system will be a key part of your duties.
- It is important to accurately document customer interactions.
- You will need to inform customers of necessary repairs and ensure they are satisfied with the completed work.
- Following standard operating procedures and utilizing knowledge management systems will be critical.
- I expect you to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
- Assisting with system or network outage triage and escalation will be part of your role.
- Support for AV presentation equipment and teleconferencing systems will also be required.
- You must adhere to shift schedules and demonstrate flexibility for weekends and holidays.
Description
I am looking for a Support Engineer II to join my Central IT team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT service requests, providing onsite technical support to corporate employees. Your role involves direct interaction with users through chat, phone, email, and in-person assistance. This position offers exposure to a diverse range of business types within our expansive tech organization, granting you valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
