Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience developing Java/SpringBoot based microservices
- Understanding with AWS lambdas or triggers
- Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Great communication skills - someone who is passionate about developing and creating a new solution
- Bonus Skills:
- CI/CD and source control experience (branching, merging, rebasing)
- Experience using container and container management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with version control tools such as GitLab, and Continuous Integrations with various CI/CD tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of test-driven development practices
- Experience with Python or Node would be a plus
- Experience with API Gateway & Management, e.g. Apige

- Design, implement, and test back-end solutions using Java and SpringBoot in AWS environment
- Assist in developing and maintaining continuous integration pipelines
- Work closely with product owner to execute and develop stories and features
- Interface with other teams as needed to resolve dependencies
- Collaborate with other team members to integrate various components into a finished product
- Think and execute in Agile manner
Description
Brooksource API Layer Team is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with at least one (1) year of professional experience to join our engineering team in Littleton, CO. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of backend platforms and APIs within our client’s acquisition group in the Wireless industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Java, SpringBoot, and AWS environments. We offer W-2 project employment with ongoing projects that will be reviewed quarterly with the potential for the engagement to be extended. [The job type is full-time with annual pay ranging between $82,766.13 - $99,675.34, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, dental and health insurance, health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and vision insurance.
