Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and firewalls, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience supporting and configuring routers and switches
- Hands-on experience with configuring and managing routers and switches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Responsibilities
- Assist in supporting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives
- Implement security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of network data
- Assist in the documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Help support data center-related network enterprise projects
- Run scripts to automate various network administrative tasks
Description
As a Network Analyst, I will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client’s data center network infrastructure. I will play a critical role within this team in responding to incident tickets and supporting network transformation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to grow their career network technology within the energy and utilities sector. The job type is full-time with a pay range of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, and benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, professional development assistance, and vision insurance. The work location is a hybrid remote in Windsor Mill, MD 21244, with the requirement to relocate before starting work. The schedule is an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
