We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. You should be clearly understandable and have excellent phone etiquette. The ability to support end-users with varying IT skill sets, follow established operational and knowledge base documentation, and standard operating procedures is essential. We value adaptability, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and excellent organizational skills. Experience in troubleshooting end-user issues is crucial, along with the ability to escalate when necessary to ensure a quick resolution. Familiarity with incident management, call tracking, and ticketing software is important. We prefer candidates with 2+ years of previous experience in systems administration, help desk, or call center roles.
Responsibilities
As a Junior NOC Analyst, I will provide first-line network technical support to employees and business partners by responding to calls outside of regular business hours. I will answer inbound phone calls regarding network issues, create and escalate Service Now trouble tickets to engineers and third-party service providers, and work collaboratively with staff and vendors. My role includes actively utilizing network management tools, monitoring the status of networks, responding to outages, providing first-line investigation and diagnosis of network incidents, and ensuring prompt assignment of unresolved incidents. I will act as the primary network contact for employees and business partners outside of regular hours, perform enterprise incident communications, issue network status updates, and assist network engineers with outstanding tasks.
Description
The position is based in Harrisburg, PA, on-site, for a 12-month contract with potential conversion to a permanent role. This role involves working 2nd or 3rd shift hours. The pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. Benefits include dental, health, and vision insurance. The schedule will require evening and night shifts, along with weekends as needed.
