Lead Software Developer - Spark

We are seeking to add a driven and skilled Senior Software Engineer to enhance and lead our financial services engineering team. This team oversees a financial data platform that utilizes big data technologies and a distributed computing engine in the Cloud to process and manage substantial volumes of financial data. The platform also functions as an integration point for exchanging data with other systems. The ideal candidate should have a software engineering background as well as experience in supporting financial systems. This role is hands-on and includes a mentoring aspect. You will work closely with Accountants and Actuaries to support daily operations and end-of-quarter activities. Strong communication skills in both technical and business domains are essential.
