Requirements
Must:
- I have over 10 years of full stack development experience, particularly in .NET (C#) and Angular 16+ (TypeScript).
- I possess experience in building and deploying mobile applications, especially with Ionic AppFlow.
- I have proven my ability to mentor developers and lead small teams.
- I understand the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies well.
- I can identify and apply common design patterns and write modular, maintainable code.
- I have strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to technical and visual details.
- I communicate effectively and feel comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders, translating technical jargon into business context.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the design and development of custom web and mobile applications using .NET (C#) and Angular (TypeScript).
- I will provide technical expertise to design, prototype, and implement solutions that are efficient, scalable, and align with business objectives.
- I will mentor and guide a junior developer, advocating for best practices and ensuring code quality.
- I will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- I will work across various disciplines including QA, BA, Scrum Master, and Product Owner to deliver functionalities that meet customer and business needs.
- I will drive continuous improvement by staying updated with new technologies and recommending improvements to our technology stack.
- I will support mobile modernization initiatives, transitioning from Ionic AppFlow to a new mobile framework.
- I will participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and solution design discussions.
- I will provide ad-hoc technical assistance and troubleshooting, which may occasionally require after-hours support.
Description
Brooksource is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer (.NET) to assist one of our clients in the agriculture and energy solutions sector. This position is part of a Customer-Facing Custom Application product team responsible for building and sustaining portals that enhance digital engagement. I will be joining a small, impactful team dedicated to modernizing a Producer Portal and mobile applications for an anticipated December launch. This role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, and mentorship, making it perfect for a skilled engineer who thrives on both writing code and guiding others. I shall work closely with business teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
