Requirements
Must:
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- 5 - 8 years of experience in corporate dining or high-end catering
- 3 - 5 years of experience in culinary staff training and development
- Knowledge of various culinary programs with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- ServSafe Certification and Allergen Awareness certification required
- Strong communication skills, both clear and professional
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Commitment to client and company safety and sanitation protocols
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time
- Must have personal transportation and a valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and hands-on support at various kitchen locations
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, service, and hygiene
- Train, motivate, and guide kitchen teams
- Ensure consistent quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Step in during employee shortages, holidays, or peak periods
- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude at every site
- Prepare high-quality scratch dishes while focusing on current trends and international cuisines
- Manage ordering processes, inventory, cash handling, and reporting
- Organize and execute food service for all meal periods
- Foster a positive team environment
- Implement sustainable practices in daily operations
- Uphold and maintain HACCP standards
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
