Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI and capability to obtain a CI Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelors or Masters degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate degree with 11 years, or High School Diploma with 14 years of experience
- Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework
- In-depth knowledge of web application security protocols
- Proven experience in developing complex web applications within government settings
- Extensive experience with Angular, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficient in HTML5/CSS3, RESTful API, Bootstrap, and frontend build tools
- Strong skills in backend web technologies (e.g., .NET C#, Python, Node.js) and database integration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL)
- Awareness of Section 508 compliance and web security best practices
- Competence in performance optimization techniques
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and implement web-based applications employing industry best practices
- Convert UI/UX wireframes into operational code
- Maintain software functionality through rigorous testing and upkeep
- Document applications, services, and environments for reference
- Configure, supervise, and manage various website/application tools
- Generate content for multiple websites/tools to aid in information dissemination and decision-making
- Construct searches, reports, and dashboards for web applications
- Propose software upgrades for existing and future systems
- Ensure compliance of web applications with Section 508 standards
- Enforce security measures to safeguard web applications against vulnerabilities
- Enhance web applications for optimal speed and scalability
- Engage in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Mentor junior developers and offer technical direction
Description
We are seeking an experienced Web Application Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA, to design, test, and develop web-based software that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem.
