Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure role
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of hybrid identity, authentication, and access management
- Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint security measures
- Proficient in virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with backup, monitoring, and patch management tools
- Networking skills, including switching, routing, firewalls, and VPNs, are advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and analytical problem-solving skills
- Outstanding documentation and communication skills
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Windows Server, M365) are beneficial but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based server and endpoint environments
- Administer and enhance Microsoft 365, covering Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related services
- Manage Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), Group Policy, and identity services
- Support hybrid environments that integrate on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Implement and sustain endpoint management solutions, including Intune, MDM, and device compliance
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across servers and services
- Troubleshoot complex system, authentication, and performance challenges
- Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Collaborate with networking teams or vendors on LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and Wi-Fi setups
- Aid in the implementation and rollout of new systems, infrastructure upgrades, and security initiatives
- Document system configurations, standards, and operational protocols
- Collaborate closely with the IT Help Desk and Project Management teams to support escalations and initiatives
