Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles
- Proficient hands-on troubleshooting for Windows environments and common business applications
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, Freshservice, Zendesk, ServiceNow)
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Strong customer service skills to support non-technical users
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Capability to prioritize and handle multiple support requests simultaneously
- IT certifications (A+, Network+, Microsoft) are advantageous but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical assistance for end users regarding hardware, software, and business applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, access, and permissions within Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other business systems
- Log, track, and update support requests in the IT ticketing system, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution
- Escalate challenging or unresolved issues to senior IT personnel when necessary
- Assist with system rollouts, application deployments, upgrades, and patches
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware setup and system access
- Adhere to established IT support processes, SLAs, and service standards
- Maintain IT asset inventory and aid in equipment tracking and lifecycle management
- Communicate clearly and professionally with end users throughout the support process
- Contribute to the creation of knowledge base articles and technical documentation
